Archetype: Jeskai Humans / Tokens / Combat Value
Primary Strategy: Flood the board with humans and human tokens via attacking, synergy triggers, and token production. Overwhelm your opponents through wide boards, buffs, and combat tricks.
Commander Role: Éowyn creates two 2/2 Human Knight tokens with trample and haste the first time each turn a human attacks alone — on ANY turn. She’s a repeatable value engine that rewards aggression and go-wide synergies.
Human Tribal Support:
This deck is loaded with human synergy pieces that buff your board, draw cards, or reward attacking:
Thalia’s Lieutenant, Coppercoat Vanguard, Champion of the Parish, Door of Destinies, Vanquisher’s Banner, Shared Animosity — all scale based on human count.
Riders of Rohan, Westfold Rider, Forth Eorlingas!, Increasing Devotion — mass token production.
Roaming Throne can double Éowyn’s trigger if you set it to Human, giving you 4 hasty tramplers per turn.
Aggression & Extra Combat:
Combat Celebrant, Breath of Fury, and Flamerush Rider give you extra combat steps, triggering Éowyn multiple times and snowballing board state.
Frontier Warmonger, Odric, Aragorn, and Frontline Medic enhance combat phase or provide indestructible.
Teferi’s Protection, Boros Charm, Flawless Maneuver help preserve your wide board.
Card Draw for Go-Wide:
Mentor of the Meek, Kindred Discovery, Mass Appeal, Idol of Oblivion, Horn of Gondor, and Titan of Littjara help you draw a ton from tokens.
Faramir, Steward of Gondor and Faramir, Prince of Ithilien also grant cards and tokens.
Protection / Control Tools:
Unsettled Mariner, Devout Chaplain, Esper Sentinel, Arcane Denial, Swan Song, Swords, Path, Austere Command give interaction without slowing your own tempo.
Raise the Palisade is a brutal one-sided board wipe — keep all humans, bounce everything else.
Go Wide + Buffs = Overrun:
You generate a huge board of humans with:
Éowyn (on your turn and opponents’ turns),
Token makers like Increasing Devotion, Riders of Rohan, Westfold Rider.
Then close the game with:
Shared Animosity, Door of Destinies, Coppercoat Vanguard, Flowering of the White Tree, etc.
Combat Loops:
Breath of Fury + hasty tokens (from Éowyn) = potential infinite combats if you can connect with at least one token per attack.
Add Anointed Procession or Roaming Throne = even crazier scaling.
Combat Celebrant or Flamerush Rider + extra combats = multiple Éowyn triggers and token swarms.
Commander Value Snowball:
Simply triggering Éowyn on each player's turn can create 6+ power in hasty tokens per round, growing exponentially if paired with draw engines and anthem effects.
